MS NOW Journo Stresses That Motive Is Still Unknown After Attempt to Crash a Plane Full of Israelis

As we told you earlier, there was an attempted hijacking of a flight from Dubai to Israel. It occurred when one of the pilots reportedly stabbed the other pilot in the cockpit with the intent of crashing the plane. The plan was foiled when some passengers and flight crew gained access to the cockpit, and fortunately at least one other pilot was also on board and the plane safely landed in Saudi Arabia.

That was just moments away from ending tragically.

According to reports, the pilot who has been arrested is an Omani national who had worked for Flydubai for less than a year.

The media are likely to stick with the "motive remains unclear" spin even after a motive becomes clear.

Meanwhile, media outlets like The New York Times, Washington Post and CBS News are all using the word "altercation" for the stabbing that took place in the cockpit.
