Sen. Mark Warner Says 100,000 Virginians Have Been Kicked Off of SNAP Because of the Big Ugly Bill

We're not sure what inspired Sen. Mark Warner to post this on Monday, but he informs us that 100,000 Virginians have been kicked off of SNAP because of the Republicans' "Big Ugly Bill." When Warner says "Virginians," does he mean citizens of Virginia, or people who just happen to reside in Virginia? Because illegal aliens have been kicked off SNAP, and the able-bodied have been given minimum work or volunteer requirements to keep qualifying for SNAP. So what he's saying seems to be that 100,000 people who shouldn't have been on SNAP in the first place either are no longer receiving food stamps or have to work for them. That's a lot of people.

Yes, there are real consequences for families just trying to put food on the table. Less of their money will be taken to provide food stamps for illegal aliens and childless, able-bodied people who should be able to feed themselves.
