Beyond parody is par for the course for the Post.
Six years ago, The Washington Post said that Atlantic hurricanes seasons are going to become much worse due to global warming. Stronger storms, especially near the coast. Hyperactive years like 2020 was said to be a “harbinger of the future.”
Last week, The Washington Post reported that the lack of hurricanes in the Atlantic this year is also potentially because of global warming.

They did the same exact thing with snowfalls. More, or less, the cause was always Global Warming™.
