Watching Kash Patel Infuriate Cory Booker (While Getting in a Dig at Schiff) Will NEVER Get Old

We'll preface this story with a quick reminder of what the Democrats are furious about these days, which is that laws are being enforced and the violent crime rate that tends to be worse in areas run by Democrats has been coming down on a national level. The FBI under Kash Patel is at least partly responsible for this:

The 2025 murder rate of 4.1 per 100,000 inhabitants is tied with 1955 and 1956 for the lowest murder rate.

Property crime and hate crime also declined in 2025. Law enforcement agencies submitted hate crime reports involving 10,881 criminal incidents and 13,026 related offenses as being motivated by bias toward race/ethnicity/ancestry, religion, sexual orientation, disability, gender, and gender identity.

To publish a national trend, the FBI’s UCR Program used a dataset of reported hate crime incidents and zero reports submitted by agencies reporting 6 or more common months of hate crime data to the FBI’s UCR Program for both 2024 and 2025. According to this dataset, reported hate crime incidents decreased 7.0% from 11,404 in 2024, to 10,606 in 2025.

More than 17,000 state, county, city, tribal, and university and college agencies, covering a combined population of 96.2% inhabitants, submitted data to the UCR Program through the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) and the Summary Reporting System. Nearly 17,000 (16,791) agencies participated in the Hate Crime Data Collection, with a population coverage of 95.3%.

With that in mind, the Democrats at a Senate hearing yesterday knew that they had to be as theatrical as possible to take everybody's attention off of how successful the FBI's efforts have been during Trump's second term.

And when we're talking about phony drama queens in Congress, for many of us the name of Spartacus comes to mind first.

Patel went at it with possibly the dumbest U.S. senator, who is Mazie Hirono, and the Director also owned Dick Durbin with simple reality checks that made the outgoing senator from Illinois want to give up and move on.

Cory Booker was also unleashing his usual phony fury during the hearing:

Booker also called the hearing a mockery, at which point a self-awareness check was in order:

"You're the biggest mockery in the Senate, and you're sitting next to Schiff."

That's just perfect, and arguably true.

Booker also was reminded about the current leader of the Democrat Party, Barack Obama, and their projection about going after the press.

In short, it was another Booker beclowning:

Fact check: TRUE.
