Kash Patel Tries in Vain to Make Mazie Hirono Understand That He’d Replied to Their Letter

As Twitchy reported earlier on Tuesday, FBI Director Kash Patel testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee and wrecked Sen. Dick Durbin, who tried to scold him for releasing Jeffrey Epstein files only after Congress passed a law. Patel reminded him that Congress could have passed that law under the Biden administration when the Democrats held the White House and majorities in both houses of Congress. Durbin couldn't move on quickly enough.

We're not sure what the dumbest member of Congress, Sen. Mazie Hirono, was getting at with her questions about a letter demanding details and costs regarding Patel's personal travel — the bit that gets cut off at the end refers to Patel's "scandalous" snorkeling excursion with Navy SEALs over the USS Arizona, "one of the most hallowed places in the United States," according to ABC News.

In any case, Hirono seemed to struggle with the definition of the word "public." When she asked Patel when he was going to respond to the Senate Democrats' letter, he responded that he already had, publicly. Hirono didn't have a sheet of paper in her hand, though, so as far as she was concerned, he hadn't responded.

The post continues:

… don't have the response. Do you have it with you? Hand it to me.

PATEL: You can look it up.

HIRONO: If you have a response, give it to me RIGHT NOW

PATEL: Go look it up.

HIRONO: I assume there is no response

PATEL: That's a lie.

😭😭😭

I do not think she is fit to be senator! CLEARLY many of these Democrats show up to hearings with pre-fed talking points and don't actually do their job.

Maybe one of her poor staffers can show her how to look it up. Even then, she still won't consider it a response. If you send a letter via the Postal Service, you should get a letter delivered by the Postal Service in reply.

They could have printed a copy of the response and handed her the pages.

We absolutely do believe she's the dumbest currently serving.

There's probably another clip of Hirono asking Patel about sexual harassment, since she seems to ask all Republicans who testify about sexual harassment. It's become her thing.
