Maybe the Democrats should behave better.
WATCH: Jen Psaki and Mitch Landrieu FREAK OUT over the idea that John Fetterman might pull an Arlen Specter and switch parties pic.twitter.com/wLYPdPbMv0

Fetterman hasn't given any indication he plans on jumping parties. He is definitely very upset about their stance on Israel and their very obvious antisemitism. He has every right to have big concerns about his own party.

My prediction is Fetterman will switch parties if Abdul El-Sayed wins the Michigan race. https://t.co/1vjqMdTNPe

Who could blame him? He doesn't want to share a 'tent' with Hamas.
I’m sorry, but all I heard is that he’s not anti-America that he’s anti-socialism and apparently that makes him a candidate for switching sides and eligible to be primary by the Democrat party? Do they even hear themselves anymore? https://t.co/jQeWdDdsg5

He said normal things most normal Americans believe so that makes him unable to be a Democrat anymore. Sounds about right.
Democrats: Trump is too divisive.

Also Democrats: How dare a Democrat be nice to Republicans! https://t.co/QGWZ32noDA
Fetterman is from a state that is just about split down the middle. He wants to be representative of all constituents.
I find it interesting that everyone talks about Fetterman changing, but no one talks about how much the Democrat Party has changed. Like so many people, he isn’t leaving the Party, the Party is leaving him.

That should be the conversation. The problem isn't John Fetterman. The Democrats are the problem. They owe HIM the apology and not the other way around. The onus is on them to turn this thing around.
The berate him and vilify him but they are afraid he might switch sides now

Maybe they should have behaved better.
It seems to me, this is as much a warning shot from the "moderate" Democrat wing to the far left as anything else. Forget the "biggum tent." DSA coups have consequences.
— CowLivesMatter (@ProtesterLone) September 10, 2026
Latest polls show a pretty large portion of the Democrat Party agrees with the DSA and don't see them as problematic. That's the problem.
New Quinnipiac poll: "Among Democrats, 59 percent consider themselves supporters of the DSA, while 30 percent do not."

Nonetheless, Dems hold a whopping 11-point lead on the Congressional generic ballot.https://t.co/U1AWxNGJS6
That's scary.
its clearly disinhibition related to his stroke. In his case he is speaking with no social or peer pressure. He's doing and saying what he believes is right and ignoring the party pressure. If only more politicians could do it.

More politicians need to be afflicted with this. America would be a better place. The government would certainly be serving the people more effectively.
