Amy Acton is running for Governor of Ohio. She claimed a man tried to attack her a few days ago. It appears there is way more to the story.
BREAKING: Mahoning County Prosecutor Lynn Maro says in court that police have searched the cell phone of 38-year-old suspect Patrick Havas following the incident w/ Amy Acton at the Canfield Fair on Sunday: "They found no threats, no ongoing obsession."

Maro also told the judge at Havas's arraignment that he came to the Mahoning County Democratic Party tent on Sunday with the intent of asking Acton questions.

He's now been ordered to have no contact with Acton or either of the two people pushed to the ground in the incident.
According to Prosecutors, the 'attacker' was simply trying to ask questions.
🫠 WOW. The prosecutor just blew up Amy Acton’s entire narrative.

She says the video shows Patrick Havas entering the tent, recording and calling Acton’s name. He doesn’t charge at her. He doesn’t touch her. No weapon is drawn. He doesn’t even get near her.
That’s a pretty big…
No weapon. Just calling her name. Acton just used this event to look like a martyr.
How in the world did anyone ever get away with suggesting this was an “assassination attempt?!” https://t.co/4Yn6x6Agzd

Well, a complicit media helps. She's a Democrat so if she says it was an 'attack', they'll run with it.

Rush Limbaugh used to have a rule about commenting on these things until all the facts came out. I'm not sure that a crime was even committed. https://t.co/K36zIqItpy

It doesn't appear there was any crime.
Amy, why have you misled people about what happened at the fair?
— Andrea (@and_kell) September 8, 2026
Why did you ask people not to film you?https://t.co/qwuBCrn5cG
Why hasn't she clarified there was no 'attack'?
Well, well, well… https://t.co/kSvDup9D6Q

Is a Democrat talking? They're lying.
Releasing this video will end Acton's campaign. https://t.co/lSiVFnQp4d

Next, she'll say he screamed 'this is MAGA country!' Heh.
YEP! She said the campaign hasn’t turned over any video and the cameras stopped before the “incident” from their end. OUCH.

Isn't that convenient?
