Sen. Mike Lee Says It's Time to Impeach Activist Judge Who Keeps Blocking EO on Mail-In Ballots

We told you about this roller coaster last week, but here's a refresher. Back in March, President Donald Trump signed an executive order called "Ensuring Citizenship Verification and Integrity in Federal Elections." It included many provisions to shore up election integrity, using the federal government's power over the United States Postal Service to enact reforms. States may have their own rules for mail-in voting, but they don't run the Postal Service. Among the reforms were not delivering ballots to people who had been declared ineligible to vote via a cross-check of databases and adding a barcode to mail-in ballots so that a chain of custody could be maintained.

The Supreme Court gave the go-ahead on Monday. States sued (again), and Judge Indira Talwani blocked the EO from going into effect, lifted her block, and then blocked it again. It goes something like this:

The post continues:

… blue states found a way to block it again. Trump appealed.

Then she issued ANOTHER ruling that rendered moot that appeal. Now Trump is appealing again

What an UTTER CLOWN SHOW!!

SCOTUS needs to put Talwani in her place, and Congress should impeach her

Sen. Mike Lee is on board:

Congress isn't going to do anything, but it's nice to hear one senator say it.

That was the plan … tie it up in the courts until the first ballots went out and it was "too late" to add barcodes.

Don't let Trump cheat! Secure mail-in ballots so that only those eligible to vote can do so. Don't let Elon Musk use his "space lasers" to mess with the electronic voting machines again. Have paper ballots.
