In the Maine Senate race, Democrat Troy Jackson was anointed as the party's replacement for Graham Platner. That move came a couple of years after the Democrats showed Joe Biden out the door and replaced him at the top of the presidential ticket with Kamala Harris without a single vote being cast. All that has been par for the course for the party that ironically likes to say Trump is a "threat to the democratic process" and take part in "No Kings" protests.
During a recent interview, Collins mentioned something about Jackson that she wouldn't bring up during the campaign, and just so everybody knows what that is, she brought it up:
