Reporter Decides Murder Trial Is the Perfect Backdrop for Cute Little Wink — Vanity Fair Boots Her

Listen, it seems all the journalists today want to make the story about them rather than the actual story. This is just one more example.

PLYMOUTH, Mass. – A reporter in a green dress has sparked backlash for grinning and winking at the camera during the murder trial of Lindsay Clancy — and she has been bounced from her gig with “Vanity Fair.”

A live CourtTV camera panned along a row of journalists in the courtroom gallery Monday when it caught Brittany Romano apparently hamming it up with a smile and a wink – as other reporters looked stone-faced.

The trial is over whether Clancy should be convicted of murder for strangling her three children to death or whether should be found not guilty by reason of insanity.

Lady, you're covering the trial of a woman who killed her babies. Maybe pull yourself together and act like a professional.

The case has been so horrifying that at least one prospective juror fled the courtroom in tears before the trial even started.

Romano was later asked about her odd reaction and claimed she was in court because she “grew up” with Clancy. She also said she flashed her pearly whites during the trial about three murdered children because her dad told her she looked sad on live TV, according to TMZ.

Yes, it gets even more weird. Also, someone tell Dad a proper reaction to listening to a trial about dead children is sadness.

Also, if she did grow up with Clancy (and a photo of them as children seems to confirm she did), why was she even the person covering the trial?

Apparently a whole bunch of them have lost their minds.

She is in need of psychiatric care.

What a loser!
