Even though their ultimate goal is to usher in a godless, communist state, Democratic Socialists and other useful idiot liberals sure do like to invoke Jesus. We're old enough to remember when Al Gore, who has been wrong about everything he's ever said, claimed that Jesus was homeless. Anti-ICE protesters — and sadly, some clergy members — insist that Jesus was a refugee. And Kansas Democratic gubernatorial candidate Cindy Holscher has "no idea if Jesus was trans, gay, straight, etc." Oh, and Jesus was a socialist.
We're not sure when this podcast was recorded, but Michigan Democratic Socialist Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed thought to remind us that Jesus was considered a radical in his time, too, for standing up to corruption.
Abdul El-Sayed compares himself to Jesus Christ:

We have no idea who all of the bobbleheads on this call are.
Even worse are the 5 other people nodding along like he didn’t just compare himself to Jesus. https://t.co/U2CnTXe7Tz

Yikes, now comparing himself to Jesus as a radical in his time.

That’s some very sketchy ground to tread on buddy!
That is very disturbing.

And yet that Hamas asshole is a Muslim and doesn't believe in Jesus but uses him as a prop !

Muslims believe in Jesus but consider Him a mortal human prophet and a servant of Allah.
I don't think Jesus was espousing hate for Jews, so there's that little bit of difference.

Jesus was radically good unlike El-Sayed who supports very bad things like Islamist terrorism and other evil systems like communism.

No, Jesus was not considered a radical.

To paraphrase El-Sayed himself, keep Jesus' damn name out of your mouth.
