Just when Michigan Democrats decided their Senate nominee needed a little extra family flair to spice up the 2026 race, along comes Abdul El-Sayed’s maternal sister — University of Chicago professor and self-described queer Muslim activist Eman Abdelhadi — reminding everyone that radicalism isn’t just a campaign slogan, it’s apparently a hereditary condition.
While big brother peddles progressive public-health vibes to the voters, sis has been busy celebrating the morning of October 7 with a cheerful “freedom” tweet, cheering on a student intifada to “break this country wide open,” and capping it all off by allegedly hocking a loogie at a state trooper during an anti-ICE freakout that earned her felony battery charges.
And the best part? She’s still collecting a paycheck from an elite university that’s about to get a massive federal cash dump.

In October of 2025, she attended a protest at the Broadview ICE Detention Center outside of Chicago.
She was arrested for violence and spit on a police officer.
She’s currently charged with two counts of aggravated battery, along with two misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest.
Her social media is flooded with antisemitic garbage and anti-American propaganda.
She’s still employed. Our Dept of Education is about to shove over half a billion into the hands of her university.
It goes without saying: this should be all hands on deck from the White House and our intelligence community.
