As you know by now, the Democrats have a top priority, and law-abiding, tax-paying American citizens aren't it. The Dems make it clear every day that people in the country illegally are their main concern, as is attempting to keep them from being deported. Fortunately they're failing to do that and the Trump White House continues to clean up the intentionally caused disaster that the Biden administration created via their open border policies.
However, because the Democrats never met anybody in the country illegally they aren't willing to throw taxpayer dollars at, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul continues to do her party's thing.

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the Empire State will be shelling out over $7 million to cover the legal bills for more than 1,000 unaccompanied migrant children across New York.
The $7.25 million in funding will cover an estimated 1,400 migrant kids facing removal proceedings, including about 250 in detention, the governor said at a press conference in Manhattan alongside Mayor Zohran Mamdani and state Attorney General Letitia James.
The announcement came after the Trump administration let its contract with a network of about 100 providers working with migrant kids nationwide lapse in July.
On top of that, Hochul wanted everybody to know she's darn proud of it.
