These people have to be getting paid for this, either directly by an NGO or indirectly through welfare that allows them the time to go on "patrol" for ICE vehicles. We're not sure how we'd feel about some clown sticking a camera phone up to our passenger window and asking, "Are you ICE?" This editor has described this anti-ICE hysteria before as mass formation psychosis, a term which was bandied about during the COVID pandemic.
