Harmeet Dhillon and Others Weigh in As Dems Hyperventilate About Trump's SCOTUS Visit

As we told you earlier, President Trump was at the Supreme Court this morning and had a seat to listen to arguments in the birthright citizenship EO case.

Cue up the Democrat and media (as always, pardon the redundancy) alarm about "separation of powers":

Rep. Susie Lee, who was so  triggered by news of Trump attending a SCOTUS hearing, posted a now deleted F-bomb laden rant. Lee explained it this way:

The Justice Department's Harmeet Dhillon quickly poured cold water on the Left's "separation of powers" meltdown about Trump being at the SCOTUS hearing:

Dhillon quote tweeted this from the @NationalMallNPS:

“Representatives of the press are seated in the red benches along the left side of the Courtroom. The red benches on the right are reserved for guests of the Justices. The black chairs in front of those benches are for the officers of the Court, visiting dignitaries, and include a special chair for the President of the United States, although the President's attendance is rare and limited to important ceremonial occasions.”

It's not known if Trump sat in the specific chair described above for today's hearing.

The bottom line is that the Dems have been trying to make it sound like it was completely improper for the president to be there, which is not the case.

Oh, they will find something else to freak out over.

Members of Congress also go to the White House for events on occasion, but we're supposed to believe that Trump attending a SCOTUS hearing is another constitutional crisis. The Left didn't think Chuck Schumer standing outside SCOTUS issuing threats was a problem, however. Go figure.
