Sydney Wilson stabbed a police officer and was shot before she could kill him. Instead of honoring the police officer who could have easily lost his life, Georgetown University posted a tweet recognizing the 'sad' loss of their former student. What in the world?

Maybe they should post a retraction.
“Tragic loss”…

Sydney Wilson attacked a police officer with a knife, leaving him bloodied.
The officer showed incredible restraint, until he had to act in self defense.
PS: No one wants to see people die in police confrontations, but claiming this is “tragic” is wrong. https://t.co/eBzNsahBaM pic.twitter.com/AzMQaDG2gV
The officer was a hero.
Are y'all kidding? She attacked a cop with a deadly weapon. You know, consequences, actions and all that jazz. #FAFO https://t.co/wrWgKdZOsG pic.twitter.com/U6Z634NBhS

Does this seem like the type of person that should be celebrated? Trying to stab a cop? https://t.co/dfmcdFB20i pic.twitter.com/o5rYdnxXFL

Maybe they should praise the first responder instead.
We mourn the tragic loss of someone who attempted to murder a police officer and found out there’s consequences to actions. https://t.co/FsyI3sZT4M

That's the real story.
Tragic loss???? She violently attacked and injured a police officer.

it’s tragic she put that officer in the position to have to shoot her after he plead with her to stop and backup before he was forced to save his own life. https://t.co/j8ZTMUhNd3
Now, he has to live with the thought of that the rest of his life. It's a real shame.
Leave it to @Georgetown to commemorate someone who died while attacking a police officer. The officer was injured during this incident.

Instead of a tribute, they should share resources to support those struggling with mental illness. https://t.co/5N88yUDSgr pic.twitter.com/QhPL6sdiUA

Maybe they should share that picture.
This isn’t tragic at all. It’s all a consequence of your actions, she deserved what happened to her and the same thing that happened to her would’ve happened to a white person a Mexican person or an Asian person. You play stupid games you win stupid prizes bub https://t.co/nUrAyi9sLz

The lesson here is never stab a cop or even threaten one with a knife.
