Trans activist explains why they had to glue their hand to the floor of the Oxford Union

This is pretty sad for those of us who remember when universities weren’t a joke. The Oxford Union debating room is a historic venue for the open exchange of ideas. That couldn’t be allowed Tuesday, though, when “gender-critical academic” Kathleen Stock was invited to speak. The BBC reports that Stock doesn’t believe her words can be classified as hate speech: “It’s not hate speech to say that males cannot be women,” she replied.

Forget about Stock, though, because all eyes need to be on Riz, a transgender activist who glued their hand to the floor wearing a “No More Dead Trans Kids” T-shirt.

Yeah, there’s a thread explaining why they “had” to do this, but since they’re not glued to our floor, we’re skipping it.

Or, just leave them there, forever.
