John Ekdahl's 'missing antiwar celebs' BuzzFeed post earns tweet from Occupy

The editors at BuzzFeed faced a bit of an existential crisis recently when word got out that a pro-life post by Live Action managed to find its way to the site’s community-contributed section. Yesterday, Ace of Spades HQ co-blogger John Ekdahl became a BuzzFeed community contributor with his post, “14 Principled Anti-War Celebrities We Fear May Have Been Kidnapped.” Maybe there’s hope for BuzzFeed after all.

Ace recently sent out an APB for Obama superfan Bruce Springsteen, who certainly must be putting together a blue collar, pro-war anthem to rally the troops for a strike on Syria. Ekdahl compiled a list of other celebrities who’ve been curiously silent, and the post has resonated with a wide spectrum of people, even earning a link from the folks at Occupy Wall Street.

Before BuzzFeed decides where to draw the line on community posts, they might want to have a look at the stats for Ekdahl’s post.
