Joy Behar says it's important to mark Juneteenth because voting rights are systematically being taken away from African Americans

“The View” went all-in on Juneteenth Monday — just look at the set. NewsBusters’ Nicholas Fondacaro watched it so we didn’t have to and provided the following clips. We learned from Sara Haines that Juneteenth feels like a more authentic celebration of freedom than Independence Day, while Joy Behar added that it was especially important on Juneteenth to acknowledge the effort to take away blacks’ right to vote.
