New York Times: President Joe Biden thinks Donald Trump is a threat to democracy and should be prosecuted

As we’ve said before, there’s been quite the turnaround on Merrick Garland. He was a martyr for liberals for having “his” Supreme Court seat stolen out from under him. President Joe Biden gave him the consolation prize of making him attorney general, and now the liberals who wanted him on SCOTUS want him to resign and make way for an attorney general who will actually prosecute Donald Trump for inciting an insurrection on January 6. What’s taking him so long? Remember when liberals kept tweeting about “Mueller Time” being just around the corner?

There’s a piece in the New York Times Saturday about Garland, and a lot of people are focusing on one paragraph that claims Biden told his inner circle that Trump is a threat to democracy and should be prosecuted. We’re actually really sick of hearing people saying that democracy itself is in peril because a bunch of people stormed the Capitol building. The fear, of course, is that Trump will be reelected in 2024 and reintroduce authoritarianism.
