As Twitchy reported, Mick Deane of Sky News was shot and killed while covering the deadly violence in Cairo on Wednesday. U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron tweeted condolences to Deane’s family and others took to Twitter to pay their respects to the 61-year-old cameraman.
Colleague Roddy Mansfield described Deane as a “brilliant journalist and an inspiring mentor to all of us at Sky.”
