We don’t know if this is true, but we do know that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is popping out of his undisclosed location to deliver remarks alongside Minister of Emergency Preparedness Bill Blair. This isn’t the first we’ve heard of Trudeau and local law enforcement bringing in the military, so who knows?

Some are saying it’s not martial law, but the Emergencies Act, which according to the CDC “gives special powers to respond to emergency scenarios affecting public welfare (natural disasters, disease outbreaks), public order (civil unrest), international emergencies or war emergencies.”
