Planned Parenthood has some advice for trans men on latex gloves and safe sex

This tweet is really best when taken completely out of context, but Planned Parenthood says someone (who didn’t identify themselves as male or trans or provide any other personal information) approached them after having sex with a man who used a glove as a condom and was worried. Planned Parenthood was happy to answer:

“If you do decide to use a glove as a condom, you can cut the glove from the base to the bottom of the pinky, Planned Parenthood recommends. “Then cut the fingers off, leaving the thumb and the fist. Open it up, and you’ve got a wide barrier with a pouch in the middle to place over your genitals.”

We’re not the experts on this, but it really doesn’t sound like the best advice our tax dollars could provide.
