Journalist Michael Hastings was tragically killed early Tuesday in a car accident in Los Angeles.
Hastings’ work included a 2010 cover piece for Rolling Stone in which he reported that Gen. Stanley McChrystal and other members of the military were critical of the Obama administration. The article likely ended McChrystal’s tenure.
Geraldo Rivera believes that’s a stain on Hastings’ otherwise fine career, but according to many Twitter users, if Rivera wants to see somebody who has done wrong to members of the military, he only needs to go look in a mirror:
