In order to quell suspicion from the media regarding President Trump’s weekend visit to Walter Reed hospital as part of his annual checkup, the White House released this doctor’s note confirming “the President has not had any chest pain, nor was he evaluated or treated for any urgent or acute issues.” Also, “he did not undergo any specialized cardiac or neurological evaluations” and the secrecy of the trip was due to “scheduling uncertainties”:

This is a really weird, defensive statement. The first sentence alone has roughly four synonyms for “routine.” It then tells us all the medical problems Trump is definitely not having.
