New York Times headline: "Sheldon Silver, New York Assembly Speaker, Accused of Taking Millions in Graft" If he were in GOP, headline'd say.
— John Dowdell (@jdowdell) January 22, 2015
As Twitchy reported this morning, Democratic New York Assembly Speaker and longtime corruptocrat Sheldon Silver was finally charged with massive corruption, bribery, fraud, and kickbacks. If a GOP politician in a similar position had been arrested in similar fashion and faced a mountain of similar charges, we’d know in 100-point Armageddon font what his party affiliation was.
But as astute observers of media bias observed, something was missing from much of the mainstream media headlines about the federal case.
