Lester Holt on MSNBC: "I can tell you more about what we don't know than what we know." News as a negative space game.

Veteran TV journalist Lester Holt rolled out of bed and into the MSNBC studios to bring dinosaur media consumers up to date on the story that’s been busting out on Twitter all night — the heart-stopping murder of a police officer at MIT, followed by a carjacking and explosive gunfight/car chase into Watertown, the capture of 1 suspect, and the ongoing search for another suspect. Those suspects have been identified on police scanner traffic as Boston Marathon bombing suspects Mike Mulugeta and Sunil Tripathi.
Holt’s early-morning candor has won him some fans.
If Brian Williams is Jordan, @LesterHoltNBC is definitely Pippen. #respect #NBCNightlyNews
