Twitchy reported on the uproar over last week’s episode of the “Amazing Race” reality game show, in which contestants were told to memorize pro-commie lyrics while racing toward a downed American B-52 bomber in Hanoi, Vietnam. Veterans’ groups were rightly outraged. Folks on both sides of the political aisle brought the shame hammer down on CBS. Tonight, the network apologized for its “insensitive” decision. That’s an understatement.

@AmazingRace_CBS As a Vietnam vet I find your apology a good thing unlike some of your audience idiots apology accepted

If anti-American, anti-military CBS was really sorry – they never would've filmed the episode http://t.co/3cYmZY0A3B

Good advice:
Apology accepted, CBS. And next time, have that producer use their brain…. http://t.co/WvdzRwfFHA

And good question:
Good to hear CBS apologized. I wonder how many people saw the apology, however, and how many decided never to watch The Amazing Race again.
