The cost of groceries and budget cooking at home has been all the talk of X for the past few days. Specifically, how much it costs to make a burrito at home versus purchasing one out.
Twitchy favorite, Jarvis, put it all into perspective today.
What each political faction is doing to lower the cost of burritos:
— Jarvis (@jarvis_best) August 6, 2026
- Libertarian: import 40 million immigrants from burrito making countries, destroy country but hey things are cheap
- MAGA: Tweet about it. Do nothing.
- Liberal: Vow to form a Congressional Burrito Cost…
Far right: Say that the DSA has a good plan. Imply that Big Burrito did 9/11. Hint at necessity of coming civil war. Deny all responsibility when a schizo who follows you shoots up a Taco Bell.

We tried this and it turns out they all just get welfare now and everything is way more expensive https://t.co/X4n9LWfNQ3
And young people can't find entry level jobs. Yay!
Ha at least he admits that burritos will be cheap under our "plan." They'll also taste much, much better. Indeed, we wouldn't even have burritos in most of the USA without immigration. https://t.co/vBT8owihS2

There is just the part where they also use lots of welfare, their kids hate America and vote for Socialism, they use lots of service like educational and medical infrastructure, and they send a good portion of their income out of country.
I think we can be done with burrito discourse now 😂 This can’t be topped https://t.co/RKaM1zEF5F

In typical Jarvis fashion.
You won't even notice the dirt when you stretch it with refried beans

Jarvis. We could will the Burrito Party into existence. America is primed. @NancyMace could run on a burrito platform and we could get this done. Whatever this is. That doesn’t matter. Let’s just do it.
