As a 'Twitchy' writer, I spend a whole bunch of time writing about the craziness on the Left. Sometimes, it's regular ol' Leftists with big platforms tweeting nonsense. Other times, it's elected officials absolutely behaving like insane people. Lately, it's been a whole bunch of Democrats who are running for various elections who have lost their utter minds.

I fully agree with Jesse's take. Democrats have made it very clear if they win back the House in the mid-terms, they are going right back to constant impeachment of Trump. It will be just like the last time Trump was President. They've also been very outspoken about prosecuting anyone and everyone if they get back the White House in 2028.

Look what they are doing in Virginia now. They are redistricting so 90% of seats will be 'Dem' seats. Clearly, 90% of people in Virginia aren't Democrats. It's a scam and it's perfectly legal because they control all the levers of power.

This is why Republicans can't grow discouraged or apathetic. The GOP can be frustrating. RINOS among us can make it very difficult to get things done. Still, we can't allow perfect to become the enemy of the good.

What we CAN do is primary politicians who do not represent Republican values. We can donate to candidates who do the will of the people. That is constructive and the proper way to ensure accountability.

This is worth repeating to yourself whenever you're (rightly) frustrated with Republicans: We have a two-party system. At this point in our politics, you don’t get a third option. You either support one side or the other. Believing you can opt out entirely is a fantasy — and a costly one.
We are well past the point of trying to have rational discussions with democrats. We are also well past the point of wringing our hands when Trump does something that we have a problem with. Unfortunately, we are in a binary situation, and we need to make sure our side wins.
