This morning I told you about a Leftist Congressman using a video of a tussle between the wife of an illegal alien and a ICE agent as a photo op. That's clearly what he did and it was a way to politicize the issue.
In the video, the woman is in distress because her husband is being deported. That's understandable. Most of us would be very emotional if our husband was being removed from the family. That's a normal reaction. The problem is that is what happens when your husband is committing a crime. Millions of women who have had their mates locked up in prison for periods of time will tell you it's horrible, but those are the consequences of bad choices. This illegal made a bad choice of remaining in a country when he no longer had the legal right to be here. In the video, the agent is seen shoving and then knocking the woman down. it's not a great look. She's a small woman and he's a man. The reality is, however, the Left has made it very scary to be an ICE officer right now and he has no idea what this small woman might do.

In two minutes, I was able to find all of these posts showing either attacks against ICE agents or people encouraging others to attack ICE agents. This is what these men and women trying to defend our borders are dealing with. So, when a woman puts her hands on an ICE officer and grabs his arm over and over again, yes, she should expect him to react. Don't put your hands on any law enforcement officer. It's become acceptable somehow to fight ICE agents. Why is that ok? Even if this particular officer overreacted, the woman is fine. She wasn't injured. She and her expensive orthodontic work were in a Congressman's office whining about it very quickly. We have to judge the ICE officer's reactions against the backdrop of what is happening in our country and the fear all of these agents must be experiencing.
The goal of the Left is to scare officers so much they refuse to do their jobs. Homeland Security bought into their game today when they came out and supported the woman rather than the officer.
A woman got up in the face of an ICE agent. Given current threat levels, it’s not on the agents to “hope for the best.” Stay out of their way and don’t obstruct. Also women have equality. If a man would be shoved, then the same rules apply.

Instead, the officer is being relieved of his duties while an investigation happens. That is outrageous. This is how the Administration quickly finds out no one will stay working for them. They need to have the backs of the officers.

Hopefully, Secretary Noem will fix these egregious failure to support ICE agents quickly. If not, the Left will declare open season on these officers.
