Another day, another failed vote for Speaker of the House. I told you yesterday I'm afraid this process is dangerous. The world feels out of control right now and voters are looking toward our government leaders for assurance it will be okay. Fighting for days on end about who the House Speaker should be looks very much like the Republican party is not ready to lead. Today, Jim Jordan lost a secret ballot and has removed his name from consideration.
🚨 #BREAKING: Jim Jordan has officially LOST the GOP’s secret ballot held behind closed doors and will no longer be the nominee for Speaker

The House will take a break for the weekend and reconvene on Monday for a candidate forum

Who is the person who can unify this party enough to get elected? I would like to suggest Thomas Massie is the man. He likely does not want this, but he is patriotic and should take one for the team. He is sufficiently conservative and the wing of voters who like homesteading and creating things from Tesla batteries would also be inspired by him.
Jim Jordan gave it his all.

He was the best Speaker candidate to reform Congress’s spending addiction that’s been bankrupting our country.
But sadly today the GOP conference met privately and ended his candidacy by a vote of 112 to 86.
I would have voted 1000 rounds for Jim.
The man is a team player. He would have gone to the mat for Jordan. Jordan is now out, however, so it is time for a sassy Massie for Speaker.
Thomas Massie for Speaker

Put Chip Roy or Thomas Massie up for a vote as speaker. They’re both intelligent, constitutionalists,

more conservative than McCarthy, Scalise or Jordan, and neither are seen as ‘Trumpers’ so it’s a win all around.
Chip Roy or Thomas Massie for speaker.

Ideologically acceptable, both great people, doesn’t reward Gaetz but he and his crew can’t oppose them without revealing it was only about doing Trump’s bidding.
Problem solved.
I’ll take Thomas Massie for speaker. Let’s get it done. https://t.co/nU5cuvtZJC

Thomas Massie for Speaker! https://t.co/ZvrGic6BGj

The grassroots effort on Twitter has started. The future is a Speaker Massie. There can be absolutely no objections to him. It is a thankless job, no doubt, but Massie can run a whole farm with no electricity. He can wrangle these folks into line.
I'd prefer Thomas Massie as speaker. Common Sense Conservative! Can someone put his name in the running, please! https://t.co/NxvpM3Jp2I

Thomas Massie is also an excellent choice for speaker.

I have an answer: Speaker Thomas Massie https://t.co/CTy5HtLiXk

The people have spoken. Thomas Massie is the answer and the man who can get Republicans back to the business of the people, and removing Tlaib from all of her committee assignments for her abhorrent behavior this last week.
