Fort Bliss VA clinic shooter identified as Army veteran, ex-employee

Twitchy reported yesterday on the shooting incident at Ft. Bliss. Active shooter at Ft. Bliss; Update: Situation under control, gunman and possibly 2 victims dead

The gunman has been identified as Jerry Serreta, an Army veteran and a former employee at the VA. His victim was Dr. Timothy Fjordback. Fjordback had reported being verbally threatened by Serreta.

Serreta killed Fjordback and then killed himself. His motive is still unknown.
