Distracted driving is illegal in California, but that doesn’t seem to stop Oakland Mayor Jean Quan from making phone calls or texting while driving. She’s been busted and publicly shamed for doing both recently.
On Sunday Quan allegedly caused an accident by running a red light while talking on her phone.
