Jon Lovitz defends pope against smear that he's not 'kind or decent': 'He wants to help poor people'

Comedian Jon Lovitz might still be a Democrat, but he isn’t one to toe the progressive line.

While some venomous liberals were shocked and horrified to discover that the new pope is … wait for it … Catholic, Lovitz praised Pope Francis as a “kind, decent man of the people” who “wants to help poor people.”
