Awesome: Jon Lovitz calls out the Left's despicable race card playing

Well, who could have seen this coming?

As Twitchy reported Thursday, liberals declared war on “Saturday Night Live” alum Jon Lovitz after he took issue with President Obama’s demeaning contempt for American entrepreneurs. As a business owner, Lovitz was appalled when the president he voted for told Americans, “If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

Apparently the Left’s assault included … wait for it … accusations of racism. The race card: libs never leave home without it.

You’d think Lovitz had committed a grave offense like using the phrase “you people.”

The comedian called out his fellow liberals, noting that it’s the Left that reduces the president to nothing more than the color of his skin.

Lovitz reminded followers that he’s still a Democrat, albeit one who commits heresy by daring to disagree with the president he helped elect.

After his recent run-ins with today’s intolerant Left, Lovitz sees himself as more of a Kennedy Democrat.

Now that his eyes are open to demands that he march blindly in lockstep or be purged from the Democratic Party, we wonder how long it will be until Lovitz echoes Reagan’s words: “I didn’t leave the Democratic Party. It left me.”

  • CaptainWhitebread

If only the Democratic leadership were more like JFK than BO…wishful thinking on my part, I know.

    • Tim Taylor

Those people are now called “Libertarians”. This country needs them to come in and kick the shit out of this losing two party system we are currently forced into voting for.
Fuck the staunch Republicans who cater to big business and their closed door deals to push through shady legislation. AND fuck the uber-liberal far leftists who live in a world of make-believe and try to tell us how to live our lives.
These two parties will fight tooth and nail to keep a third party out of the mix.
      Wake up everyone!

      • qb

Tim you seem like your being a little vague, stop candy coating !

      • Nick Christakes

Agreed, except for the incorrect assertion that the republicans cater to big business. Remember that it was Bush that proposed the small business tax cut. Obviously, big business pandering is a left wing game and has been since Reagan left the white house. It’s sickening no matter who does it though, so in that regard, I agree. We need to put a Tea Party congress and a Tea Party president into the position of political leadership. Electing Ron Paul would be a good start, but he cannot do it alone. They will never let him accomplish anything unless the media (left-wing propaganda elite) is broken up under the RICOH laws for monopolistic practices of racketeering. That should be the 1st act of a real and truly elected congress of the people, by the people, and representative of the people…not politician pandering big corporations.

  • sybilll

Lovitz doesn’t realize it, but he is a Reagan Democrat.

  • Donnertparty

Surely you know that the whole Romney/right wing criticism of Obama for comments on making it in small business is the product of shameless cropping of the full text of the president’s speech? For those of you who have missed it, read the full text in context (the bolded text is what Romney and the right wing is quoting out of context:
“I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet. The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together.”

    • NJHuguenot

The Internet wasn’t invented so people could make money on it. It is teh invention of the US military and the universities to provide access to research papers accross the board. Obama is wrong about that. Also, wasn’t he saying a while back that the US has never been successful because the system as designed doesn’t work? I like when this guy goes off the Teleprompter.

    • sybilll

I listened to the entire speech. Face it. Your guy is a Marxist disguised as a Collectivist. See……your thinking is aligned with his, so you cannot even see it. Seriously Steve, there would be NO government were it not for taxpayer dollars, not the other way around.

      • timzank

Exactly right. We, the people, formed (hired if you will) the government to work for US! This government was not formed to “give” things to the citizenry, but rather to SERVE the citizenry.

      • Joseph Amendolea

actually Marxism IS collectivism….anything that leads to a totalitarian system of government is collectivist in nature….every form might differ in method but the end goal is the same for each form of collectivism, 100% total rule of the people

        • DB1954

Absolutely correct. I have to add that there was never any real difference between European fascism and European communism and / or socialism. Both were always collectivist movements with few if any substantial differences.

      • Carl Dennis

Sybill the libs are brainwashed it’s a cult they are in .” the lib cult ” they can only see wrong if a Replubican is doing it, and if a Democrat does the same thing their brain shifts to justify mode ,, the god of the libs is the little tin god Obama.. I hear everyday well George Bush did it .. F or some reason it’s okay to them when Obama does it..

      • DB1954

Fact: the states formed the federal government, not the other way around.

    • Tom Moulthrop

No, we all read all the blah, blah, blah BS that he included with his remark. He’s never worked for anything and has had everything handed to him unlike most of us hard working Americans.

    • Randy

Unfortunatly for you, the unedited text has the same meaning as the edited version. Especially if you consider the rest of his pitiful record.

    • Tom Clampitt

We heard the whole context bud. Just because some stories you read don’t have the full transcript in them doesn’t mean they got it wrong or are spinning anything. Just because we have roads and schools doesn’t mean a person hasn’t built something on their own at all. I find this way of thinking
Absurd. We don’t credit the Swiss postal service with the Special Theory of Relativity because it transmitted Einstein’s manuscript to the Annalen der Physik. Everyone drives the roads, goes to school, uses the mails. So did Steve Jobs. Yet only he created the Mac and the iPad.
Obama’s infrastructure argument is easily refuted by what is essentially a controlled social experiment. Roads and schools are the constant. What’s variable is the energy, enterprise, risk-taking, hard work and genius of the individual.

      • James

Are you related to Jeb Clampitt of the Beverly Hillbillys.

        • Tom Clampitt

          You mean Jed dork :)

        • Tom Clampitt

You people can’t even get your insults straight…now if anyone needs me I’ll be down at the cement pond.

        • 29Harvick

You must be related to Obama with your dumb comments…………

      • Zakkwild#1fan

        well said Tom

        • Adan Starr

would you like me to post it here Tom and Doug.
“If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help,” he said. “There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.”
“If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made it happen,” How much more clear can you get.

          • Adan Starr

He pretty much told Joe “the plumber” the same thing last election cycle. I mean a plumber is rich in his mind and should pay 3 months of income in taxes. He is a socialist/marxist and so are you if you follow him. Everything he does is about government control and handing out someone else’s money.

          • Tom Clampitt

This is what he is really telling us.

      • Bainy

Tom..thanks for this splendid summary of this debacle. The libs are in a coma when it comes to facing reality in this Obamanamian nightmare.

      • Lisa

        More kool-aid, please…

      • Adan Starr
    • foxdup1

Steve, take the words ‘somebody’ and ‘government’ out of there and insert We The People in each of their spots…I’ll wait while you read through it again… it is not the government, it is we the people that create the laws, the jobs, the schools, and the opportunities and also the ones who take the risks to get these things done..the only job we gave to the government was to protect the constitution and its constituents. not to tell us what light bulb to use what health insurance to buy or the car we need to drive, or how much soda we can drink…get a freakin clue!!! for everyone of these you let them dictate to you the more freedom you lose.

      • Heather Brady

        YOU got it fox.
And those big businesses who are a part of We the People…. paid for the majority of it.
Also, looksee what the .gov has stollen FROM the people. Many roads were built by communities and the businesses that started in them, only to have the government darn near “bribe” the States with funds so that they could 1st) gain control and 2nd) demand to be the middle-man merely funneling money so they could 3rd) take decision making away from local communities and 4th) so they could STEAL a part of the funds for their “pork” and other unethical acts.

    • Zakkwild#1fan

I herd it live right out of his mouth.. Nothing was taken out of Context. as a small Business owner I was Appalled.. And was Insulted by what he said. why is this Guy always playing the Class warfare card..?? this is as Bad as i ever seen from this Guy..” What” now they will somehow Blame Romney when He Actually Ran a Successful Business…

    • Platinum Angel

Yeah. We got that. The whole Romney/right wing actually reads things before we comment on them – or sign them into law…

    • Tominky

Odumba is waiting for someone, anyone, to say this country was built on the back of slave labor. This president will never understand, nor does he want to, God is the foundation of America. He is nothing more than a puppet for those who are determined to destroy America.

    • topcat1957

We all heard the whole speech. And we heard Elizabeth Warren’s speech last September. We know what both of them meant as well; they wanted to justify raising taxes to punish businesses. Raising taxes does not increase revenues. Not when we already have the highest corporate tax rate in the indust. world, not when we’re still in a recession. The rich already pay most of the income tax. The top 10% pay 70% of income tax, while the bottom 50% pay only 2%. So if you built a business, its likely you paid for it yourself with your taxes.

    • Terry Garland

The full text doesn’t absolve him of what was implied, at all. Those of us who have done the homework know that this man is a dyed in the wool Marxist, and deny it all you want…he hates the private sector. A flourishing free market is antithetical to his political beliefs, and he’ll do all he can do downplay and retard its progress.

    • Patrick M. McClure

Good job translating english to english. It still something in private he wishes he did not say but I surely believe he meant every word….and it is brutally offensive even in your english version in context.

    • Mikki Mead

See if he is going to go that far, he needs to go farther back in time. Ya the government built the CURRENT roads. But who built the first ones??? Here’s a hint, it wasn’t Obama…

    • holygoat

The full context, if it changes anything, reflects even worse on Obama. He clearly holds the American capitalist system in great disdain and wishes to replace it with an authoritarian command and control system of crony-fascism. I commend your attempt to defend the guy wearing your team’s jersey, but you’re pissing in the wind. We all heard what the President said. You can’t change that.

    • John Alway

“out of context”????? I heard the whole context. He was talking down achievement. It was clear as glass, and seriously, CONTEXT is his whole god damned career and philosophy. His mentors were communists, and his friends are hard leftists, terrorists (Bill Ayers) and racists (Jeremiah Wright). Bring in more context and it damns him all the more. But, then, I being a capitalist and believer in individual rights, never liked him and always knew he was bad. Although, admittedly, I would never have guessed he was this corrupt.

    • Tim Taylor

Steve! LOOK at what he said! “Allowed you to thrive?” The government gave us the internet so that we can make money! Really! Well guess what, people who have successful businesses are the biggest tax payers. They helped to build the roads and bridges more than anyone! They are the biggest employers. They are the back-bone on which this “unbelievable American system” was built. This is all part of the- don’t worry, let us take care of you- scheme that they intend to grow and fester in our society until the American dream is nothing but a fading memory. It’s all smoke and mirrors. Tell the people fairy-tales to win them over and then convince them they are bad for wanting true freedom. It happens time after time throughout history and it ALWAYS ends in disaster.

    • 29Harvick

Steve as we speak is having a circle jerk with his Liberal friends on Obama’s photo.

    • Dave Antkiewicz

Turnabout is fair play Steve. When Barack HUSEIN Obama was taking Governor Romney out of text everything was alright. Now when BO’s own tactics are used on him more effectively than he could do it he cries that it is unfair. I do not need a crybaby as president. If you cannot take it do not dish it out and if you cannot stand the heat get out of the kitchen. Chicago politics should never have been allowed into the most powerful office in the world and now you see why. If you vote for this Chicago slickster politician again you get what you deserve.

    • Lisa

      Drink some more kool-aid!

    • Lisa Miller

Reading the entire text doesn’t help your argument.

    • soundnfury

His speech misses the fact that everyone has already paid for those benefits through taxes. Now he is suggesting that the small biz owners didn’t pay their fair share, even though the top 10% of earners pay 70% of the taxes, while the bottom 47% pay nothing. In the name of fairness, we ought to insist that everyone pay something.

    • MPR1776

That’s right, ‘that somebody’ that invested in roads and bridges was the taxpayer, which includes individuals and busniesses, not the gov’t which DOES NOT earn money! We also paid for the Internet research and any other kind of thing that Obama says the gov’t did. And since we paid for it, we ought to be able to use it, don’tcha think?

    • DB1954

Most of the things that we do collectively or “together” are one of two things: enter into actions that are absolutely, unquestionably necessary for national survival, in other words, World Wars. The other things we do collectively are, with one or two exceptions (NASA, e.g.), are pig-ignorant STUPID.

    • john jones

The Gov’t created the internet as a secure, convenient means of passing
messages that didn’t have anything to do with the public. When the
internet was embraced by the public, businessmen saw an opportunity to
use it to make money. The GOV’T DID NOT create the internet for the
purpose of Joe Public making money.

    • Richard W Fleming

I thought Al Gore invented the internet, he said he did and we all know liberals don’t lie.

  • Orangeone

OMG Entertainment Tonight is referring to this as the “Batman Movie Massacre”. What the heck is up with these disgusting libtards?

  • Lidsamy

I said the president was a buffoon and was told i was a racist by someone claiming to be a professor. Guess he didn’t understand the difference between Buffoon and Baboon

    • Dave Thomas

Good job Amy, anybody that pisses off propagandizing, brain washing, marxist academia is my kind of free thinking american.

    • bluewaternavy

I told someone I “disagree with his policies” and was branded the same.

    • DB1954

Any 3rd grader can tell you a Buffoon is another word for a clown. Liberals’ worst defect is that they always hear what they want to hear and say what they want to believe, neither of which is usually congruent with reality.

    • Michael Lindsay

I heard the same, Amy. So I concluded that Obama was hired because he’s black. Now we’re going to fire him because he’s useless.

  • bannie2

Jon Lovitz…my new favorite Hollywoodie. Nah…he’s just moved up from BEING a “Hollywoodie”! He’s now my new favorite star! Thank you for giving me hope, Jon.

  • KnowbodyXXX

    Who called him a racist?

  • Janice O’Neil Field

I’m so sick of the race card being played everytime a negative comment is made about Obama.. Lest we forget the man is half white for crying out loud!!!!!

    • Mikki Mead

Um ya….more than that…I thought I read somewhere that he was only 5% black….

      • KeninIL

        Maybe 1/32 Cherokee too !

      • $21590057

He’s a crazy mix of Arabic, Caucasian and African.

        • Tim Taylor

Crazy mix of shit-head, socialist, douche bag… I don’t care what race he is.

        • Mme Scherzo

          He’s Kendonesian Halfrican American.

        • pepjrp

          Arabic, European and African.

    • Norbit Peters

      Blame THEIR race-baiting mediia!

    • DB1954

Lest we forget his white family were Marxists.

  • Dave Wadsworth

I don’t understand this president. He goes from saying “America’s gotten lazy” to “If
you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that
happen. Which one is it? There’s just no continuity in what he says. Am I out of context between these two quotes?

    • Pat

Yeah, the second quote’s a lie.
I mean, he did say those words, but… there were other words before them. He was talking about infrastructure that everybody uses, like roads, that makes it possible (or at least a lot easier) for businesses to function. The word “that” in that sentence is referring to that stuff, but when you take those other sentences out it *looks* like he’s referring to the businesses themselves.
Basically, anybody who’s ever quoted *just* that sentence is a liar.
If you need to lie to criticize somebody, there may be a problem. But it’s not with the person you’re criticizing.

      • Elaine

Hey Pat938. You’re wrong. Listen to the entire thing and you’ll find that he’s minimizing the efforts of the business order and reminding all of us that every good thing comes from the government. As a small business owner, I’m aware that I didn’t build the roads or teach myself in school, but the taxes paid by me and other Americans did. Barack isn’t responsible for the infrastructure. The taxpayer is. What is Barack’s plans when he destroys the system that allows business to thrive and he no longer has the tax money to spend? Oh yeah, that’s his plan. Bankrupt the country so his marxist/socialist/communist cronies can step in and take it over. George Soros for president!

        • Pat

If you have a legitimate complaint against what the president said, okay fine. But if you did, we wouldn’t be having this discussion when you say I’m wrong for pointing out it’s an inaccurate quote. That’s no opinion, it’s not an argument, it’s a fact. And if you need to lie about it to make an argument, then you don’t have a real one.

For the record, Mitt Romney also made an extremely similar speech.
And the fact that you’re calling the president by his first name doesn’t exactly help convince me that you want to have a real conversation.

      • MPR1776

The gov’t doesn’t earn money, it takes $$ from the people in the form of taxes. Therefore the gov’t didn’t build anything, the people did and amongst those people are business people who paid taxes to help build the ‘infrastructure’. Ergo, since there would be no road without tax $$ and there would be no tax $$ without taxpayers, individuals and businesses, Obama is wrong, they did build that through their tax contributions.

        • Miami_Son

Exactly right. And the sad truth is that our tax money to build such infrastructure was likely misspent since it was also used to grease the politicians and government contractors who siphon off a good portion of our taxes in the process. If anything, businesses are successful in spite of government, not because of it.

        • Pat

Um, yeah. The people building that shared structure through the government is exactly its purpose. And was exactly what he was saying. So there’s that.
But even if you were successfully arguing with him instead of agreeing with him with an argumentative tone… that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a deceitful misquote intended to mislead, proving that the people saying that, at least, can’t argue with him on merits. What was that about bearing false witness? I suppose that wasn’t really an important one, anyway…

      • Richard W Fleming

Seems like the boy above might be a spinmaster, should get a job with the Kenyan and Axelrod

        • Pat

I didn’t actually even say anything supportive of Obama. I *gave* context, so it’s hard to call that spin.
Meanwhile, the people who intentionally withheld said context…. Yeah, I was the one *calling out* spin.
(And I realize that you called me “the boy” mostly to be condescending and rude, but I *do* have a gender-neutral name, y’know.)

    • John Hayes

so if i declare myself lazy, will the government build me a business?

  • John Alway

The racism charge is all the left has any more. I really don’t take it seriously. Beyond stupid. Just laugh at ’em.

  • Tim Taylor

Anyone who can call out their own people when they feel they are wrong is OK in my book. Hey John- come join us…we have cookies!

  • 29Harvick

Sorry guys, the “you guys are racist if you even think about opposing Obama” was a plan from the Washington Liberals from the beggining of making him run for POTUS.They planned it early to use it often to paint everyone as a racist who opposed him on ANYTHING !

    • Rena

And the reason for this is to create “White Guilt”. The most feared label to attach to anyone is being called a racist, next to being labeled a pedophile. They can call me racist all they want, and have done so. And it makes me laugh all the time because my family is very multicultural, from White and Black, to Puerto Rican, Pacific Islander and Native American… And there is nothing they can say after that… My new saying is “the race card is worn out now… please find a new platform to stand on”.

  • voorhee

Hey John, we’ve got a big tent, come join us!

  • Norbit Peters

Real Americans don’t condone Democratic HATE SPEECH!

    • DB1954

We should call it what it is: RACIALLY DIVISIVE speech.

  • Norbit Peters

Spread the word…and don’t back down against these Obama-supporting RACE-BAITERS!

  • Norbit Peters

In the papers yesterday they were heralding the reunion of Dennis Rodman & his dad.
His dad’s last, and only, time to see little Dennis was back in the halcyon days of 1969!
Since then, old pop’s been on somewhat of a tear, having 29 children with 16 different women; they’re still running the numbers to see if any of his offspring have caught him yet. You’ll all recall, Dennis is no slouch in the Prego-em’ and leave-em’ fatherhood category either.

THIS attitude, so prevalent in black, inner city culture today, leaves millions of kids abandoned and reared by the streets.

Yet not one word from our first black President on this epidemic!
That is SHAMEFUL! – because he’s smart enough to know the devastation it causes, yet says nothing.

    • Brenda Harvey Hitchcock

Agreed except that it is not just a problem in black families. White fathers are also guilty of abandoning their children. I believe the problem is that we are raising a society of people that think it is okay because somebody else will take care of these kids(welfare system) and ….we do.

      • Julie the Jarhead

        Welcome to The Great Society.

      • DB1954

I agree, but the problem is increased dependence on government. Has always been thus in America and everywhere else …

    • Andrew Rice

Do your homework Norbit. Pres.Obama has given speeches on this. But I guess they weren’t covered on FAUX News. ” Becoming a Dad doesn’t make you a man, raising your children does.”

      • John Hayes

so obama’s solution to the problem is another speech?

  • Julie the Jarhead

I think all these liberals should take their own advice — smoke some weed and chill.

    • Richard W Fleming

And cut down on the kool-aid.

  • Rob Murphy

The race card is the Left’s only way of moving their agenda forward. Whenever they bring it up, the white guilt comes out and, as Jon has found out, no matter what you say, you are a racist. Our current President is a terrible leader and his Hope and Change was and still is useless. Used our money to pay his Cronies and sent money and jobs overseas… We spent 831 million on his Stimulus and made less than a million jobs… So that is something lke 8-9 million per job? Totally useless! So now I will be called a racist to I guess…

    • Karen Holman

Don’t forget that most of those million jobs were government jobs. They aren’t even producers!

    • Pat

      800,000,000/1,000,000=800, not 8,000,000. Not difficult.

  • Paul J. Citro

In 2008 nobody was a racist as most voted for Obummer but now he has to run on his record and people are starting to see his wreckage you become a racist.

    • Pat

Yeah, because there was totally no racism in 2008.

  • LBer

I don’t understand how the left can play a full race card against President Obama…He’s only half black and other half is white. So why don’t the white’s get bad as well?

    • Pat

Because racists sure love mixed-race kids.

  • Steve Spidle

i agree with Jon, the only time I hear the prez. refereed to as a black man always comes from the left. Unfortunately this is their plan, ‎”Because if you don’t have
any fresh ideas, you use stale tactics to scare voters. If you don’t
have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people
should run from. You make a big election, about small things.” – Barack
Obama, 2008 Democrat National Convention. Hopefully people can see thru his BS this time

  • Terry Williams

If I am not mistaken, Obama is half-black and half white, right! What is racist about that statement, isn’t that the truth?

  • dodgergirl88

I’ve been called a racist and a fascist by liberals because of the anti-Obama bumper stickers on my car. They are usually in their cars and drive away real fast so that I can’t say anything back. This is the only thing they have to say when their guy is such a failure. What if Obama wasn’t black but still a failure. What would they call you then? The race card is the only game they have, unfortunately for them, this only makes them look ignorant and more Americans angry. I’m praying it won’t work for them this year like it did in ’08. It looks like Jon Lovitz has learned his lesson from ’08. Adam Corolla also looks like he’s gone conservative. Let’s keep it goin’ boys.

  • Barbara Goss

You can’t call me a racist because I don’t like Obama, because I dislike Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi too… and guess what? They are white. So you know what you can do with that race card. Anyone who uses it, IS the racist.

  • Joe Salvati

Hey, I am married to an immigrant from Brazil who is black. Not African American – in Brazil they don’t bother to try to be politically correct – but black. I get told I am racist because I oppose many of the presidents policies. When I counter with the reality of who I am and who I am married to – the conversation goes quiet. It gets uncomfortably quiet, for the other person of course, when I continue with the admission that I am also an ardent supporter of the tea party.
Weird huh? Married to another race, from another country and father to a mixed race son and yet, I still am a racist because I oppose a President who is himself of mixed race?
How about everyone stop talking about race and simply focus on whether or not whomever is in the white house is implementing policies that are improving our economic lot.
And if after 3 years you haven’t been able to fix the problems you ran on and said you knew what the solutions were then damn it, you don’t deserve another 4 years.
Black, white, Klingon, Ferengi or Vulcan – if you can’t get it done, bring on the next one.

I only disagree on one point, Joe. Obama got “it” done. But it turns out that “it” is a Marxist-Leninist revolution by which the Constitution has been shredded, the nation bombarded by unending leftist propaganda the likes of which this country had never even remotely agreed with prior to 2008: Wealth envy justifying “redistribution” [read: government THEFT of private property] of wealth; the looting of the US Treasury by Obama and the 111th Congress; the imposition of “race-crime” laws and the criminal prosecution of anyone seeking to assert their constitutional rights to life, liberty, or property; the racial huckstering, corruption a the highest levels of government … shall I go on?

It’s Bush and his policies who brought on the economic problems we are having now. It takes more than 4 years to undo the crap that the Republicans created.

I don’t think you’re a racist. I think you are nuts. How you can support the t-party beats me. How many mixed race people are in the t-party? They have one black person and they keep showing him in all the ads. Your son would not be comfortable at a convention for the t-party. Like I said, you’re not a racist, misguided and not supporting what is in the best interests of your child or your husband.

Jon….. Trust me on this…… YOU CANNOT have a logical discussion (using facts and history and logic) with a LIBERAL (aka, leftist, democrat, progressive)…. It’s like this – if it is in the best interests of their good intentions that the sky should be PURPLE, no amount of discussion or scientific evidence to the contrary will disavow them of that belief

I always default to pointing out that since they brought up race… they are the racists. Then I end the conversation there. Let them stew in that, plus further discussion after they play the race card is usually non-productive. my 2 pence
