Doctors clear Robin Roberts to return to 'Good Morning America' on Feb. 20

In June 2012, Robin Roberts told the “Good Morning America” audience that she had been diagnosed with M.D.S., or myelodysplastic syndrome, a rare blood disorder. She underwent a bone marrow transplant and is scheduled to return to the anchor chair on Wednesday, Feb. 20. More from ABC:

The official announcement was made today on “GMA” after Roberts received the all-clear from her doctors. Her most recent test showed no abnormalities, and over the course of her recovery, the anchor has continued to regain her strength and energy.
