Heh. Sorry, we mean President Obama attended VP debate moderator Martha Raddatz’s wedding in 1991 and oh-so-transparent ABC didn’t bother telling the public.
President Barack Obama was a guest at the 1991 wedding of ABC senior foreign correspondent and vice presidential debate moderator Martha Raddatz, The Daily Caller has learned. Obama and groom Julius Genachowski, whom Obama would later tap to head the Federal Communications Commission, were Harvard Law School classmates at the time and members of the Harvard Law Review.
Martha Raddatz is moderating the Vice Presidential debate and Barack Obama attended her wedding years ago.

But not only did ABC execs decide it wasn’t worth disclosing to the public — they released a statement calling The Daily Caller’s inquiry into the Raddatz-Obama connection “absurd.” Journo-tools for Obama, anyone?

ABC panicked and preemptively leaked that statement to Politico before The Daily Caller even published its report.
So ABC found it necessary to downplay the appearance of bias when the news was about to break about her wedding guest list. But the network didn’t think it was worthwhile to clue the public in just for the sake of transparency.
