No rest for the unwashed. The Occupy Movement’s valiant struggle for, uh, something or other continues even on The Man’s holidays.
This is what my day will consist of. The struggle doesn't end on holidays. #JoinUs http://t.co/RRNOjPza http://t.co/sQErFs5K

Yesterday, the Occupy Movement’s goals were temporarily put on hold. Hey, there was free Ben and Jerry’s to be had!
But today at the Occupy National Gathering in Philadelphia, Occupiers are busy declaring their “interdependence.” When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to crap on police cars, eschew showers, and set up rape tents …

The Independence Interdependence Day sentiment at Occupy camps around the country is pretty much what you’d expect.
iPad: $399. Birkenstocks: $79. Hating on America: Priceless. #NatGat

Using a process called “visioning,” the Occupiers are drafting a Declaration of Interdependence.
The #NatGat Visioning Process has begun in Franklin Sq! #NatGat pic.twitter.com/0tkSSzIP

If "visioning" process works, one could say #Occupy has better chance of solving systemic problems in America before Congress #NatGat

Snort.
The #NatGat Declaration of Interdependence looks like a lot of hippie mush. https://t.co/bQ8e4X9Z #tcot

On this final day of the Gathering, with “visioning” as the overall theme, we have decided to offer our own version of a process, with the possibility of a final outcome being the drafting of a single “Declaration of Interdependence” upon which all participants consent.

Here’s part of one of the proposed declarations.
When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for people to restructure the economic bands which have connected them with others and to assume among the responsibilities of the earth, the interconnected and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God require of them, a decent respect to the opinions of humankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to this interconnection.
Which one will they choose? We’ll know soon. Squee!
At 6pm, the #NatGat vision document will be unveiled. #occupy

It appears the Declaration of Interdependence remains in draft form.
We are an interdependent world community. Recognizing we are unique and whole as individuals, yet part of a greater whole as members of human society we seek to heal the social cancers that so infect our cultures today….
Sensing this oneness and interdependence as humans sharing this NOW moment we pledge to work together as ONE in attaining well being and wholeness of society and our planet. this last sentence seems a repeat of 1st lines….?
