The weaponizing of speculation is a very good way to phrase it, and it is such a disservice to publish things about without corroboration and force people to spend time and energy reacting to rampant, baseless speculation.
"Weaponization of Speculation" Dang, @BuckSexton – that was brilliant! https://t.co/1tlQV9dv6T

“What we are seeing is a weaponization of speculation.” Agree on diagnosis and prescription that it must be stopped. https://t.co/SgitBxuAu1

While Chuck Todd tells us that there is accountability in journalism today, the BuzzFeed incident shows that there are major problems with how “reporting” is being conducted.
NO MERCY! Mollie Hemingway DRAGGING the ever-loving snot out of Chuck Todd whining about ‘accountability’ is EVERYTHING https://t.co/v2rLi90Dga
