For United Airlines, the week is off to a bad start. Yesterday, they were ripped for “passing the buck” over a dog being left on the runway. And today, there are more complaints. It’s never good when the corporate account is routinely publishing tweets like these:
@chicityredd Thanks for your cooperation during the cancellation of your flight. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. ^JJ

@JamieJoVittetoe If it cancel while at the airport see customer service or call reservations call center. They will rebook.Happy New Year^CA

Fed up about his experience, comedian Jim Norton vented:
Another @united flight, another shit experience. 30 min delay already and the crew isn't even here yet. Horribly unprofessional people.
— Jim Norton (@JimNorton) December 29, 2014
AND now @united has Kenny and another woman assigned to the same seat. Same thing happened last flight.
— Jim Norton (@JimNorton) December 29, 2014
HOW THE FUCK DOES A COMPUTER PUT 2 PEOPLE IN THE SAME SEAT?? @United
— Jim Norton (@JimNorton) December 29, 2014
He is far from the only disgruntled customer.
Thanks @United. I get to spend a fun filled day at the airport since maintenance caused our flight to be canceled.

@united your dysfunction is maddening. Just when I want to believe I make the right choice by flying you guys, something gets screwed up.

@united except that this isn't an "inconvenience" from a delay. It's a cancellation and missed work if you can't help these people go home>>

#DontFlyUnited also trended nationally.
In Norton’s case, at least, there was somewhat of a resolution.
Kenny got to keep his seat! And the woman who also had the same seat got upgraded to 1st Class.
— Jim Norton (@JimNorton) December 29, 2014
This @united pilot fucking rules. He handled the seat station himself and comped all drinks on the flight to make up for the late start.
