CNN anchor Robin Meade sang the national anthem at the Sprint Cup race today at Talladega, Ala.
Many think it fell flat.

Some think she might have tried to improvise too much.
Why do folks like @RobinMeade think they're more important than the National Anthem? C'mon #NASCAR y'all can do better!

@RobinMeade I didn't care for your rendition of the Nat'l Anthem…great voice but why not stick to the original version!?

Apparently nobody told Robin Meade which parts of the national anthem to hold #nscs

Others, however, think it was a success.
