A lot of people are really, really mad at Donald Trump Jr. for this tweet we told you about last night where he said Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving “just sacrificed more than Kaepernick ever did” by refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine to comply with New York City’s mandate:
Kyrie just sacrificed more than Kaepernick ever did! https://t.co/bMNryRnIlI

Here are some of the examples of lefty blue-check hate at what Trump Jr. pointed out:
Kaepernick sacrificed his career to save lives, not cost them https://t.co/5b27FlTPtR

If I’m Kyrie, I’m immediately getting vaccinated and returning to work after seeing this show of “support.” https://t.co/3vftA1Gqts

Kaepernick sacrificed his career to shed light on racial injustice & the staggering rate at which police were killing unarmed black people.
Kyrie refused a scientifically proven, readily accessible, free vaccine that helps keep him/his teammates safe in a pandemicYou're a moron https://t.co/Bqn9ScjeTL

It's true, Kaepernick never voluntarily exposed himself to a deadly disease. https://t.co/kk6PfrV56Y

I remember when Colin Kaepernick started kneeling there was this concern he was walking the walk but couldn’t talk the talk and then every time you put a microphone in front of him he explained his position patiently and elegantly
Kyrie Irving is the opposite of that

First up, this is the guy they’re calling selfish and worse? Because he’s the opposite of that:
Kyrie Irving is extremely generous:
· Bought George Floyd's mom a house
· Paid tuition for 9 HBCU students
· Bought 200+ kids Christmas presents
· Provided 250k Thanksgiving meals in NYC
· Donated $1.5M to WNBA playersIt's sad to see him called selfish for a personal decision.

But more importantly, what does Kapernick have to say about Irving’s decision? As far as we can tell, Kapernick has been silent about it. And from a search of Kaepernick’s Twitter feed, he has never even tweeted the word “vaccine” before:
He *has* tweeted about COVID-19. Twice. Both back in April of 2020:

Libs, hate on Irving all you want. It’s a free country. But you may not like what your hero has to say about it when or if he does talk about it.
