A violent felon is under arrest in connection with the murder of a Minneapolis store clerk last night:
Statement from MPD on tonight's homicide during an armed robbery at 4xx Cedar Ave. A clerk at the store, an adult male believed to be in his 40s, suffered multiple gunshot wounds inside the business. He subsequently died. His identity will be released by the ME.

According to the Star Tribune, his “criminal history includes a conviction in adult court in 2010 for beating a pregnant woman in St. Paul during an attempted carjacking when he was 16 years old, as well as two felony drug convictions”:

One Somali teen told Tracey that he feels “African Americans are hunting Somalis” in Minneapolis:
