Despite bodycam footage to the contrary, Benjamin Crump's tweet claiming Ma’Khia Bryant was 'unarmed' is still up

Despite bodycam footage clearly showing Ma’Khia Bryant was armed with a knife and attacking two other girls, attorney Benjamin Crump has yet to delete this tweet claiming a Columbus, Ohio police officer “killed an unarmed 15yo Black girl” on Tuesday:

“Unarmed,” he says:

We all saw it!

And where’s that little Twitter warning when you need it?

The NYT quoted from Crump as well:

But notice how they edited out the part where Crump called her “unarmed”? What hacks:

Editor’s note: We’ve changed the spelling of Ma’Khia Bryant’s first name from “Makiyah” in our headline and post to align with the correct spelling as reported by the media at large.
