James Comey took to Twitter Sunday afternoon with more election advice, this time aimed at Dems when he urged them to “don’t lose your minds and rush to the socialist left” and support candidates like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez:
Democrats, please, please don’t lose your minds and rush to the socialist left. This president and his Republican Party are counting on you to do exactly that. America’s great middle wants sensible, balanced, ethical leadership.

Yeah, this didn’t go over well with liberal blue-checks:

Hey, he just wants Dems to make a little money, too:
This tweet deriding socialism is a good reminder that just before becoming FBI director, James Comey worked at Bridgewater — the world's largest hedge fund https://t.co/vPTOwIECQg https://t.co/g3FYWmLmbZ

We think that maybe they’re still mad about that whole Hillary thing:
Yep! Still mad:
Crocodile tears from the man who did more, with the bogus Clinton fear-mongering late in the campaign, to undermine the democratic process… https://t.co/aWpjYEjmdZ

A) you gave us Trump, you ding dong.
B) "Vote sensible centrists!" was the exact argument for Hilary Clinton, John Kerry, and Al Gore over their more leftist primary opponents. https://t.co/MWbpDtcW7a

There is nothing politicians love more than lecturing the left about why they shouldn't be pursuing their ideal agenda. https://t.co/oKmprOFKik

Any sensible Dem gets that things are moving to the left.
Balancing your interests against those of the GOP = negotiating with terrorists.

Elite figures who gave us Trump — whether through the bankrupt policies they supported or the personal actions of those like Comey — keep urging us to do more of the things that gave us Trump: https://t.co/7ooMAvGBk4

Hey Jimmy, we just want affordable healthcare and higher education. If there's a single human being most responsible for the shitshow today, you'd make the top three. Go knit. https://t.co/UzD1URJH3y

And can we stop pretending this guy is non-partisan now?
