Actor from 'Frozen,' saddened by what happened in Texas, cheered himself up by watching ‘Deadpool 2’

“Deadpool 2,” which which opened in theaters everywhere on Friday, is the story of a bullied mutant teen who returns to the facility he was raised at in order to enact vengeance on those who wronged him.

And for actor and comedian Josh Gad (“Frozen,” “Pixels”), seeing “Deadpool 2” was the best way to cheer himself up after a bullied teen returned to his high school in Texas and murdered 10 of his classmates:

Just wow. Nothing like comedic violence to get your mind off real violence!

What’s worse is that “Deadpool 2” writer/producer Rhett Reese thanked him for it:
