Sen. Chris Murphy blames today's school shooting on Congress for failing to pass measures that would not have stopped today's school shooting

Well, this is quite the take from Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT).

According to the Connecticut Democrat, it’s inaction by Congress on guns that “has become a green light to would-be shooters who perfect silence into endorsement””

According to the latest report, the shooter used a shotgun and a .38 caliber revolver that he stole from his father, which means not a single law proposed by Murphy and other Dems would have done anything to stop today’s horrific tragedy:
