Earlier this morning, we told you about Jessica Valenti losing “HER DAMN MIND” after tweeting that “Dana Loesch bringing up guns as a means to prevent rape is DISGUSTING.”
If that wasn’t unbelievable enough, Valenti went on to question if a woman would be believed if she shot a rapist in self defense and claim that “Women are overwhelmingly hurt by guns, not helped.”
Well, then…
In response to Valenti’s nonsense, here’s conservative woman @Artist_Angie with a powerful message on why she feels overwhelmingly protected by guns, not hurt:

Actually, I don’t talk about it at all. I refuse to let it define me.
I could not prevent it & I can not change it. But I am very angry.

I am not a victim. I am a Survivor and @JessicaValenti does not get to speak for me. I don’t need to go into details but I was sexually assaulted as a child. I was literally helpless & couldn't fight back. 2/5

Now ppl like @JessicaValenti want to say that I now, as an adult can’t protect myself from the evil that I know for a fact exists bc I had to look it in the eye over and over at an age when I shouldn't even know what evil is makes me justifiably angry. 3/5
