Whoops!
A local resident captured the moment a car was able to get past anti-terror barriers set up on pedestrian-only Lincoln Road in Miami’s South Beach and casually drive by as diners enjoying a meal watched in amazement. Check it out:

But with most things Miami, this incompetence and wasteful spending was predicted, via filmmaker Billy Corben (“Cocaine Cowboys,” “30 for 30: Broke”):
I warned in August about Miami Beach @MayorLevine's bogus "anti-terror barriers" https://t.co/3WGYrLDBoC

“Not for safety but publicity,” Corben tweeted in August:

Anti-terror barriers that don’t stop cars, pumps that don’t stop flooding — it’s a pattern:
1. It rains
2. Miami Beach's $400 million "anti-flood pumps" fail
3. @MayorLevine issues flurry of press releases/writes op-ed
4. Repeat pic.twitter.com/4wdQWbvAsr— Billy Corben (@BillyCorben) August 4, 2017
